I was reading over my bio and realized that it was in need of some updating.
This is the journal of the quintessential “Jack of all Trades, Master of None”.
I tend to be a little obsessive at times, live with an ocean of trivia crashing around in my head, and am just a bit of a neat freak. I’m about to enter into the bonds of matrimony, for the first time in my life, and if you see me running down the street pulling out my hair (what’s left of it anyway), it’s because I’m stressing out over wedding plans. Catch me after December 13th, 2008 and I should be a much more relaxed person.
I’ve been trying to write a vampire novel for the last few years and am finally making real honest to goodness progress on it. My outline is almost complete and I’ve finished the first chapter. I’m rather pleased with how it turned out, but of course it’s what other’s think of it that will ultimately make it a best seller or not. Oh to be rich and without a care in the world…
I'm a night person stuck in a day person's world. An old goth pressed into the typical businessman wrapper. I have a good career, but I don't "love" it...it pays the bills and keeps me comfortable, but I don't feel artistically fulfilled. Besides writing, I am a also a photographer, but struggle with finding the time to follow my inspirations (see “Career”). My obsessive traits also tend to get in my way pretty regularly. I like my house neat and tidy, which takes a good deal of time (something I don't have much of to begin with). I also have a desire to stay fit. Again, more precious time. These are just a few of the things that regularly get in my way, but you get the idea. I have un-diagnosed ADD. Yup, that’s my story and I’m sticking with it.
Other items of note: My fiancé is an amazing woman (who I will refer to as "W" in my posts), who has restored my faith in the human race, and I also share my life with an Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler) named Jesse. I didn't name him mind you, he was a rescue dog who already knew his name and it didn’t make sense to change it on him. I tend to lovingly refer to him as "stinky", "Fuzz Ball", "His Royal Fuzziness", and "Buddy". He's my trusty co-pilot and puts a smile on my face every day.
If you happen to ready my journal entries, please feel free to comment on them. That’s what they’re there for anyway and I get a kick out of what other people have to say.
